Gratitude #6

Casting my vote.  Having my say.  I'm not rabid either direction -- Republican or Democrat.  I believe an elected official has the responsibility to represent, advocate, and consider, to the best of his or her ability, the best for all constituents -- not just half of them.  We are all Americans. The differences in philosophy or approach to governing are inherent to our form of government. And I do not believe a political race should have as its goal the ability to silence whatever half doesn't agree with them.
